1. CREATE A BRAND YOU ARE REALLY, REALLY PROUD OF
If you love your brand and are proud of the design, what it represents and how it makes people feel, you are more likely to promote it in a positive way that connects to your audience. People appreciate good design practice and it shows that you value and respect your brand.
2. AN IMAGE CAN SAY SO MANY THINGS
For this to be a good thing, you need to create a visual presence that represents your brand and showcases not only your products and services, but your brand image. Use professional photographs, avoid stock images (where possible) and utilise a custom colour pallet that compliments your branding. Show your uniqueness!
3. CONSISTENCY REPRESENTS QUALITY
Be consistent in your branding and style. You need to create a brand image and have it reflected consistently on all your print and online advertising spaces. Your website should be an extension of your brand, consistent in colour pallet and imagery, professional, easy to navigate, have a purpose and encourage your target audience to take action. All other print material such as business cards, stationary and signage should spread your brand awareness. As should all social media pages and external advertising.
