We were approached by the owners of MedRock Bar and Grill to design a logo and branding for their new restaurant.
We met the owners onsite to discuss their business and branding requirements. The restaurant was located in Meddowbank, right on the water near the ferry warf. It was going to be a Bar and Grill restaurant with cocktails with themed events.
A totally new restaurant and brand – we were excited!
The owners had come up with the name MedRock Bar and grill. The name was inspired by the location and the type of cuisine they would serve.
We asked for logo inspiration and any colour ideas they would like incorporated. From there we researched the area, menu and other restaurants in the area, their competitors. From there we developed a range of logos for the client to review.
We were inspired by the location, the water, greenery and the infusion of heat, food and cocktails they would be serving.
We developed an icon that represented the infusion of water, cocktails and the heat and flavors of the kitchen all joining together.

The final concept includes a modern font, infusion icon and colours that will get the attention of people on the ferries or in the area.
The owners love the new logo and are excited to get a neon sign made, together with menus and other items before the launch of the new restaurant.
