We were approached by Demon Surfboards to create a totally new custom eCommerce website for their products.
Their current website was dated, not functioning and not really showcasing their products to their full potential.
Old website:
Demon Surfboards had just undergone a rebrand and we needed to revamp it’s online presence and really showcase what the brand was all about.
We conducted some research into their target audience and competitors before starting to design their new website. This is a very important step that provides with a powerful insight into the industry and acts as a guide for the elements we use in the new design.
We came up with the tag line ‘ Tough and Stylish boards – Designed to suit every need of every surfer, regardless of age..”
We worked out the navigation based on the required information we needed to communicate with the user – about, testimonials, warranty and custom services.
The shop was the main focus, users would come to the website with intentions to buy, we needed to make sure the products looked great and the site was super easy to use.
We designed an eye catching header area showcasing the bright products and using breach imagery to set the theme of the website and brand.
We also included a link to social media pages, a quick visual link about custom branding (as this is something that made them unique in the industry) and the main product categories.
Overall we designed a very modern, visual stimulating but clean custom website design for Demon Surfboards.
